Our physiotherapists working in the pain management services specialize in helping people manage their pain better. Unfortunately, with long-term conditions it is not always possible to get rid of the pain completely, so our main aim is to improve quality of life and help people function despite the pain.

Pulmonary rehabilitation is an evidence-based multidisciplinary and comprehensive intervention for patients with chronic respiratory diseases who are symptomatic and often have decreased daily life activities.
This multidisciplinary outpatient programme interacts with the other members of the rehabilitation team and aims to increase peripheral muscle strength and endurance, improve functional exercise capacity, reduce breathlessness and improve health related quality of life.
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy is a specialized area of Physiotherapy treating injuries and conditions which affect the muscles, joints and soft tissues. Injuries which can be treated include:
