Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all medical equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and repaired, which includes regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and addressing any faulty equipment.
- Perform calibration and testing of medical devices to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
- Available on-call to provide immediate assistance and troubleshoot issues during odd hours to ensure patient safety.
- Responsible to install and set up new medical equipment and provision of training to staff to operate and maintain the equipment.
- Keep track of the hospital’s medical equipment inventory, including records of equipment usage, repairs and replacement.
- Ensure that all medical devices and equipment in the hospital comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Closely work with the Clinical departments in ISO Audits.
- Follow quality control processes and protocols to ensure that medical devices meet safety and performance standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BS/BE in Biomedical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of related work experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, medical services, and healthcare practices.
- Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel. ERP working experience will be an added advantage.
