INVENTORY OFFICER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare purchase requisitions based on consumption trends and user requirements.
  • Receive stocks and update the system while ensuring proper storage and placement of the stock.
  • Issue stocks to the users following the FIFO method and update the system
  • Ensure the accuracy of stocks by conducting regular counting and checking.
  • Prepare and update monthly sheets for near-expiry / nonrunning items and collaborate with the Purchase Department to settle them
  • Closely coordinate with the user departments, as well as with the Purchase Department to maintain adequate inventory.
  • Maintain and update records.
  • Manage and supervise the relevant staff.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/HOD from time to time

Qualifications and Experience:

  • MBA Supply Chain/ M.com/ Pharm-D or equivalent qualification with at least 3-4 years of related work experience.
  • Should be proficient at the use of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems EBS/Dynamics/SAP etc.
  • Must have experience of working in large scale stores / warehouses from reputable organization.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills.
