ASSISTANT MANAGER - SECURITY
Security
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Sr. Manager Security in overseeing all aspects of the Security Department, developing security measures, and ensuring implementation of relevant policies and procedures and security checks.
• Secure premises by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and patients.
• Report incidents that may arise within the premises and take remedial measures as per the institutional policies and in coordination with Sr. Manager Security to prevent a recurrence.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches and conflicts.
• Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies, as and when required.
• Plan and conduct training sessions for the security guards.
• Conduct internal investigations as and when necessary.
• Monitor attendance and duty rosters of security guards and ensure optimal shift coverage round the clock.
• Prepare and submit periodical reports to Sr. Manager Security.
• Assist in hiring, evaluating performance, and training of security personnel.
• Perform any other task as assigned by Sr. Manager Security from time to time as per the need of the department.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Retired from Armed Forces at the rank of Captain or equivalent with ten years in service or a civilian having a Master’s Degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience, out of which 3-4 years must be at supervisory or managerial level.
• Candidates having experience in managing security operations in healthcare setup shall be highly preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• The job may require working on different shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and special events.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is mandatory.
