Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify the best source, gather quotes, and negotiate with the vendors.
  • Prepare and verify comparative statements
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow for timely delivery
  • Arrange local purchases as and when required.
  • Coordinate with the Inventory Department for replacements of expired items and/or purchase returns
  • Liaise with the Departments of Inventory, Finance, Internal Audit, and end users.
  • Comply with the ISO standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • MBA Supply Chain or equivalent education with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience preferably in a healthcare setup. Candidates holding a Pharm D degree in addition to MBA will be preferred.
  • Should have good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Must be a team player and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience working on Oracle ERP
