Key Responsibilities:
- Identify the best source, gather quotes, and negotiate with the vendors.
- Prepare and verify comparative statements
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow for timely delivery
- Arrange local purchases as and when required.
- Coordinate with the Inventory Department for replacements of expired items and/or purchase returns
- Liaise with the Departments of Inventory, Finance, Internal Audit, and end users.
- Comply with the ISO standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MBA Supply Chain or equivalent education with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience preferably in a healthcare setup. Candidates holding a Pharm D degree in addition to MBA will be preferred.
- Should have good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Must be a team player and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience working on Oracle ERP
