PATIENT ADMISSION ASSISTANT
Admission
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel patients or their attendants on admission process inquiries.
- Provide surgery bill estimates prior to admission.
- Process patient admissions by verifying demographic information and completing all necessary forms.
- Ensure accuracy and validity of patient information on admission sheets.
- Act as a liaison with insurance companies with respect to their policy holders’ admission, to secure pre-approval on a case-by-case admission.
- Coordinate with wards to assign beds for new admissions and maintain a list of available beds.
- Inform patients or their representatives of payment details and ensure submission of the required amount.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate with 01 to 02 years of related work experience.
- Should have good communication skills, interpersonal skills and be a good team player
- Should be proficient in the use of MS Office (MS Excel/MS Word)
- Should be able to work under difficult working conditions
