Ward Administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage allocated wards to meet patient's needs, including timely medical treatment, diagnostic tests, and therapeutic care as indicated by the consulting physician.
- Coordinate with nursing personnel to provide necessary nursing care and other patient needs.
- Resolve patient complaints promptly, submit them to relevant departments, conduct investigations, and notify HOD Ward Administration.
- Ensure safe custody of patient files during admission and timely return to the Medical Records Department after release, while maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Coordinate with the Billing Department to ensure timely charging and communication for patient services.
- Coordinate with the Patient Admissions department to ensure timely patient admission and discharge according to protocols.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping to maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned Wards, including timely maintenance of equipment and fixtures.
- Ensures patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Resolve complaints from patients, attendants, and family members regarding patient care.
- Coordinate with security for conflict resolution.
- Maintain quality services and procedures in conformity with quality, environment, and safety management systems. Participate in associated work activities and take responsibility for departmental work assignments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MBA in Hospital Management or equivalent qualification with 05-07 years of related experience including 2-3 years at the supervisory level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office.
- Ability to speak or understand other languages will be an additional advantage
