Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and monitor quality management systems in compliance with ISO/JCIA standards and hospital policies.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the hospital's quality and patient safety outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous quality improvement in clinical and non-clinical areas.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to design and execute quality improvement projects.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to patient safety and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement hospital-wide risk management frameworks.
  • Monitor incident reporting systems and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Design and deliver training programs for staff on ISO, JCIA, and other quality standards.
  • Oversee the development, review, and maintenance of hospital policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines.
  • Prepare and present quality assurance reports for hospital leadership.
  • Maintain records for audits, surveys, and accreditation visits.
  • Maintain records/ reports pertaining to internal and external audits ensuring timely follow up and reporting to concerned chairs and Medical Director.
  • Ensure periodic internal quality audits to ensure compliance and facilitate addressing any gaps / non compliances / complaints, and timely closing of the same with appropriate corrective and preventive action.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree with 10-12 years of hands on related experience in hospital or healthcare setting including experience of ISO and JCIA standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, JCIA, and other healthcare quality standards.
  • Must be certified in quality standards and occupational environment, health, safety.
  • Strong leadership skills to facilitate healthcare teams in adopting best quality practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to deliver trainings on quality standards and patient safety.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
