Infertility Clinic

Infertility is the failure to conceive after one year of unprotected intercourse. In a woman, infertility is treated with fertility drugs and hormones to help the woman ovulate or restore level of hormones. If a woman is not been able to conceive with drug, the tubal patency is checked by different methods:

  • Hysterosalphingogram
  • Saline Sonohysterography
  • Laparoscopy & Dye Test


All infertility investigations are being performed in LNH, including:

  • IUI (Intrauterine Insemination)
  • Checking of Hormones, AMH (Anti-Mullerian Hormone) level
  • Semen analysis
  • HSG (Hysterosalpingogram), Saline Sonohysterography
  • Ultrasound TVS (Trans-vaginal Scan) for follicle tracking
  • Laparoscopy and Dye Test
  • Hysteroscopy and D&C (Dilatation & Curettage)

Education & Training

The specialty is actively involved in teaching and training activities. Workshops have been organized in collaboration with SIRM (Sindh Institute of Reproductive Medicine) on Semen Analysis and IUI (Intrauterine Insemination).
