The Department of Nephrology has gained recognition for its expertise in proficiently managing complex kidney and metabolic disorders.We offer a diverse range of services ranging from inpatient care, outpatient clinics to hemodialysis facilities. Our team also includes designated specialists in clinical hypertension. We aim to provide our patients a focused and standard care. We pursue excellence in comprehensive care and clinical technology.
Hemodialysis Unit
The Dialysis unit utilizes modern hemodialysis technology and a team of well-trained nurses and technicians to provide 24-hour service. We ensure that stringent safety and quality measures are in place and screen every patient for Hepatitis B and C on the first visit. We have separate machines for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and non-reactive patients.
Education and Training
Liaquat National Hospital prepares doctors in the field of Nephrology for Fellowship and Membership with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. We also have a training program of BS Medical Technology (Dialysis) under the supervision of senior and qualified faculty.
