Department of Gastroenterology

The Department of Gastroenterology was inaugurated in1987. Since then, it has grown into one of the busiest departments of Liaquat National Hospital. We not only provide services to outpatients, but also manage inpatients including emergencies and perform advanced endoscopic procedures in a modern cutting edge endoscopy suite.

Liaquat National Hospital is one of the few hospitals in Karachi where our experienced gastroenterology faculty provides 24 hours comprehensive emergency endoscopic services to adult and pediatric patients, especially for gastro-intestinal bleeding and foreign body removal.
