Dental Assistant
Dental & Maxilofacial Surgery
                            Key Responsibilities:
 
                             
- Prepare treatment room for patients following prescribed procedures and protocols.
 - Provide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access; suctioning; and passing instruments.
 - Provide materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments.
 - Perform and develop radiographic images (PA X-rays).
 - Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative instructions.
 - Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
 - Ensure operations of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
 - Maintain and update dental supplies inventory.
 
                            Qualifications and Experience:
 
                             
- Preferably Intermediate with a Diploma of Dental Assistant and 1 to 2 years of related work experience.
 - Applicants with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene would be given preference.
 - Knowledge of Dental tools
