Assistant Neurophysiology Technologist

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine EEG (including neonatal, portable, and sleep-deprived), evoked potentials, NCS, RNS, and assist in EMG with minimal supervision.
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures and providing reassurance.
- Carry out all neurophysiology portable procedures and manage equipment/cart mobility.
- Assist seniors/consultants in urgent cases and follow departmental SOPs.
- Maintain lab cleanliness, equipment, and stock with trainee technologists.
- Communicate patient information effectively with doctors and colleagues.
- Follow infection control guidelines of LNH.
- Attend academic sessions, prepare trainee lectures, and handle emergency calls.
- Manage urgent/walk-in patients and work late hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Review typed reports before consultant signature.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals (biomedical, IT, maintenance, OPD staff).
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment/software issues, reporting to seniors.
- Participate in workshops, CME, conferences, and online courses for skill enhancement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Basic computer skills (including MS Office) are mandatory.
- Minimum B.Sc. in Physiology (B.S. in Neurosciences preferred).
- Certificate of 2 years on-the-job training from LNH or any reputed organization.
- For external applicants (non-LNH), an additional 1 year of job experience is required.
