Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
- Perform Speech therapeutic assessment of patients with diverse and complex conditions.
- Provide effective and efficient speech therapy treatment to meet the needs of patients.
- Communicating with the patient, and liaising with their family members & physicians to design effective treatment plans.
- Write down all notes in medical record file and maintain accurate documents of patients.
- Consulting and collaborating with consulting physicians and other medical professionals in providing speech therapy treatments in OPDs and wards.
- Give report to the supervisor/seniors with particular attention to patient related issue.
- Initiative and creative in carrying out rehab functions.
- Evaluation and formulating speech therapy treatment plan.
- Monitoring patient recovery through speech therapy provided.
- Providing quality speech therapy treatment to the highest possible levels.
- Educating patients and their families about treatment interventions and home exercises.
- Complying with organizational policies and standards of quality care.
- Maintaining and update patient records and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BS Audiology & speech Language pathology from a recognized Institution with 2-3 years of relevant experience preferably in a tertiary care hospital.
- Candidates should have good management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.
- Ability to take care of clients with different personalities.
- Ability to find solutions to problems.
- Organized and methodical mindset.
- Analytical skills to provide accurate diagnostics.
