Senior Physiotherapist/Senior Lecturer
Physiotherapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
- Educate patients and physiotherapy staff in preventive health care, curative health care, and behavior as appropriate
- Liaise with other health professionals to ensure that a multidisciplinary, holistic, and culturally sensitive approach to patient care is maintained
- Supervise physiotherapists and interns in making decisions about physiotherapy treatment for patients and establishing channels of communication
- Deliver lectures and workshops to undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students, focusing on research methodologies, evidence-based practice, and advanced clinical topics.
- Guide students in their research projects, including proposal writing, data analysis, and publication processes.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with audit requirements of relevant regulatory bodies, including academic, research, and clinical documentation.
- Maintain accurate patient progress records/ proper documentation, fulfill statistical requirements and contribute to the development, planning and implementation of high quality curriculum
- Provide input and participate in the staff professional development program with particular regard to physiotherapy staff and students
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSPT/DPT, M.Sc.PT / MPhil with 8-10 years as a Physiotherapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
