Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders
• Diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
• Perform controlled therapy sessions with individuals or groups.
• Help rehabilitate those who have experienced physical or psychological trauma.
• Should be able to work with patients from different backgrounds.
• Communicating with the patient, and liaising with their family members, & physicians to design effective treatment plans.
• Educating patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies.
• Taking detailed notes on patient history and progress.
• Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters/BS in Speech & Language pathology completed.
• Should have 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a tertiary care hospital
• Able to evaluate, diagnosed communication difficulties, swallowing issues (Peads & adult)
