Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the lift system following established safety guidelines and protocols.
• Perform pre-operation checks to confirm that lift systems are functioning properly.
• Ensure to carry out regular maintenance tasks, including oiling/cleaning, tightening loose bolts, and inspecting cables and gears.
• Maintain precise records of lift usage, maintenance activities, and repairs.
• Ensure adherence to all quality, environmental, and safety management system standards.
• Ensure discipline and adherence to institution’s policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric (preferably Intermediate) with 1 to 2 years of prior experience of operating and maintaining lifts in a commercial or public setting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Excellent knowledge of lift system operations and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work in shifts, and on-call or emergency duty as required.
