Key Responsibilities:

• o Responsible for installing, testing, calibrating, and repairing biomedical equipment.
• o Conducting tests and evaluations for proposed and new equipment.
• o Deal with contractors, evaluate service contracts and maintain equipment inventories.
• o Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• o Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
• o Prepares biomedical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• o Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
• o Train clinical staff and other personnel on the proper use of biomedical equipment.
• o Any other task(s) as assigned by the HOD from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience:

• o BE Biomedical with at least 10 years of related work experience preferably in healthcare setup.
• o Should have good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
• o Must be proficient in using MS-Office applications.
