Key Responsibilities:

Family Medicine Consultant will provide holistic, patient-centered care across a diverse range of health needs in a variety of settings, including hospital, home-visits, outpatient clinics at main campus and Outreach Services.

• Conducting thorough medical assessments and developing evidence based comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Conducting immunizations, screenings, and other preventive health checks to detect potential health risks early.
• Conducting home visits for follow up of Geriatric patients post hospital discharge
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers (nurses, specialists, etc.) to ensure coordinated care for patients.
• Educating patients and their families about health issues, disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient EMR records of diagnosis, treatment plans, and patient interactions.in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Providing immediate care for minor injuries, illnesses, or acute conditions that require urgent attention.
• Teaching and supervising junior doctors, residents, or medical students.
• Conducting educational sessions/community-based awareness programs or workshops for healthcare staff, patients and their families.
• Participating in clinical research and contributing to the development of medical knowledge.
• Complying with Quality management system , healthcare laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• FCPS (Family Medicine) with two years of experience
