INFECTION CONTROL NURSE

Key Responsibilities:
Infection Control Nurse is responsible to identify, investigate, and
monitor infections which could pose health risks to patients, staff, students,
general public, and recommend measures to control and prevent these. This will
involve data collection, ward rounds, and teaching health care providers and
patients regarding control and prevention measures, maintaining accurate
patient clinical records. The infection control nurse will work as part of the
infection control team.
Qualifications and Experience:
BSc Nursing preferably with 2 years’ experience as Infection Control
Nurse or General Nursing Diploma with 5 years’ experience in Infection Control.
Should be registered with PNC.
