Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares for examinations by checking equipment , reading physician orders for specific examinations; setting-up recording equipment; entering patient information into system.
• Reduces patient anxieties by explaining procedures; answering questions.
• Prepares patients by positioning patient, spreading gels, checking attached electrodes to chest and equipment, adjusting equipment controls, verifying wave signals. Obtains quality images by positioning and repositioning transducer; monitoring display screen, detecting artifacts that mimic abnormalities, recording images.
• Records examination information by printing graphics and data.
• Prepare factual report also Interprets results and get the final reports signed by the Consultant.
• Protects patients by adhering to safety policies and protocols.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Responsible for looking after general maintenance and day to day issues of department and coordinate with Supervisor.
• Responsible to monitor, guide and trained the Echo trainee and junior technical staff.
• Liaison with BME for the maintenance /full function of the Equipment’s for the smooth running of the services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BS in Medical Technology (Cardiovascular)
• Preferable 1-2 years related experience
• Excellent attention to details, ability to Multi task.
• Candidates should have good management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Possess up-to-date knowledge.
