Key Responsibilities:
- • Develops annual plan to ensure learning needs of nursing staff.
- • Develops and submits personal and departmental goals and objectives on annual basis.
- • Well conversant with the areas of nursing program development, educational planning, teaching strategies, and clinical supervision and evaluation.
- • Maintains and monitors the online credentials of employees with the collaboration of nursing administrators and clinical heads.
- • Regularly meet with clinical HODs along unit heads clinical nursing for need assessment and develop teaching modules accordingly.
- • Make all administrative arrangements for the teaching module.
- • Participates in Quality Improvement projects in the role of Facilitator or Team Leader.
- • Conduct random rounds for evaluating staff and give feedbacks to concerns clinical nursing Head & unit head.
- • Arrange Journal Club, Mortality and Morbidity meetings, and Case presentation Forums in Coordination with clinical nursing and administration nursing.
- • Maintain staffs education and training records.
Qualifications and Experience:
BSc. N, preferably Master’s in Nursing with 6-8 years of clinical nursing experience, as a Clinical Instructor/Supervisor NES including 3-4 years as a nursing supervisor in a large tertiary care hospital. Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills. BLS and ACLS certified. Valid registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council.
