Karachi, June 03, 2010 Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) arranged a provincial CSO seminar in Karachi at Sheraton Hotel in which Liaquat National Hospital also participated. Ms. Umaimah Muzzamil, Deputy Manager, Marketing & Media Affairs expressed her views with different NGO representatives and expedited the social work LNH is doing for the poor and the needy of our community. The main objective of the Seminar was to provide an interactive forum to civil society organizations, donors and government representatives that are contributing towards social development of the country.

The program started with the recitation of Holy Quran. Ms. Anjum Haque, ED PCP gave the welcome address and Mr. Malik Babur Javed, Programme Manager (PCP) welcomed the distinguished guests and gave a brief introduction of the Centre.

The event provided ample opportunity to certified CSOs to exhibit their programmes and interact with donors and government.

Representatives from Ministry of Social welfare graced the occasion. Mr. Abdul Qadir Chanchur (Retired Judge) was the Chief Guest of this occasion.

In order to make the event interesting and purposeful, the certified organizations also participated in theatrical performances which were very interesting.
